1tablespooncornstarch (optional for thickening sauce)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, and onion powder. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Using your hands, form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
While the meatballs are baking, prepare the honey garlic sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and garlic. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a tablespoon of water in a small bowl, then stir it into the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and transfer them to the saucepan with the honey garlic sauce. Gently toss to coat the meatballs in the sauce.
Serve immediately, drizzled with extra sauce and garnished with additional parsley if desired.
Notes
Optional cornstarch can be used to thicken the sauce.
