Instructions
In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
Once boiling, add the cinnamon stick (or ground cinnamon) and grated ginger to the pot. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes to infuse the flavors.
Add the sliced orange and lemon to the pot, and continue to simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes, allowing the citrus flavors to meld with the spices.
Remove the saucepan from heat and strain the tea into individual cups, removing the cinnamon stick, ginger, and citrus slices.
Stir in honey to taste, adjusting the sweetness to your preference.
Garnish each cup with fresh mint leaves. Serve hot for a comforting experience.
