Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, grated apple, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, chopped sage, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Mix the ingredients thoroughly using your hands or a spatula until well combined, but do not overmix.
Using your hands, form the mixture into small meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart.
Drizzle the tops of the meatballs with olive oil to help them crisp up while baking.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C)).
Once cooked, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Garnish with fresh parsley for an extra burst of flavor and color before serving.
